My daggers beat deep within the snow as my run became a slow trot, now into a walk. Aud's perked behind me as I walked. Trust no one, that's my motto and I'll stick with it till the day I die. This does not mean however, that I am d**ned. I can be just as vibrant as those angelic equines who never seem to have a dark cloud hover over them. I do wish I could be like them somehow. To let go of the past like a feather in the wind. Let go of your memories. it must be nice, wouldn't you think?
Let me pick up speed. Yes, faster now, and even faster still as these thoughts race in my mind.

running It's like a poem when you think about it really. Every mark you make in the Earth is a word or metaphor you'd leave on paper. Every memory left behind, another verse. Hm. Much am I like a poet aren't I?
The snow was crunching and flying out behind me. No. I could not hear it because I was too busy focusing on where I was going, not what was behind me now. there was no point. Why look behind? Look ahead.

Speaking of that, I can see....flowing water? Shouldn't it be frozen? My nails dug deep into the snow until they grasped onto the only terra-firma they could find. I halted in front of a small strand of running water. I took a deep breath. They water, actually having a crisp scent, filled my insides with such pleasure. it was a long time since I had clean water. All before I had sandy water, maybe some murky water, but never clean water. I lowered my dial to graze upon the crystal liquid. As soon as I separated my lips, no more sooner was the juice inside and filling my body of a new refreshing taste.
